This was the last assignment for the different pictures that we had to take over the weeks. For this one i chose nature because we had beautiful parks all around Saline that i could use for these pictures. I like how my pictures over the duration of the class period changed from low budget close location pictures to going to these beautiful spots in the woods and in the country. The only thing i edited in the picture was the levels again because the leaves already made for a good background that didn't need changing in my opinion. I tried to go for pattern in nature like with how the flowers grew and the grooves on the trunk of the tree. I also wanted, however, to have a wide angle shot of the nature.
This was our second to last photo project I chose to do an open project where I could choose my own subject to shoot. I decided to do machinery as there was plenty of places at this site that had machinery at the quarry. I figured that if i was going to do shadow and light, i could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and do 2 assignments in one night.
We had a multitude of tutorials to choose from but only had to choose 3 to do. I decided to do a polaroid, jump-shot, and replaced the background to one of my old pictures to make it fit. I did these to hopefully enhance the original pictures in the first place. I liked the jump-shot picture as it added depth to my picture and just made it better in general. I found that the most challenging one was the polaroid photoshop as it had around ~40 layers to use so that it could look like it does. Nonetheless i still found all 3 pictures fun and worthwhile doing :).
For this assignment I used light to cast shadows onto the ground to take my pictures. We then had to photoshop it in order to enhance it. I decided to have a little fun with it instead and created (In my opinion) something better.
For this assignment we had to use a tripod so we could capture different pictures of us using the same background. We did this by first capturing 5 pictures and then combining them in photo shop to make one composition. I really liked this assignment because it gave me freedom to create a scene of which I am my own actors and audience providing the story like the track image. Maybe if I had a better scene I could do more with props and whatnot but for what I had I say that I used the backgrounds appropriately. Overall although it wasn't that difficult I say that it produced amazing pictures
For this assignment we we're told to choose another topic which I chose to be Macro this week. So i took a lot of close up picture in order to do this, however i do not own a macro lens, so this was a little bit of a challenge for me
For this assignment, we had to take multiple pictures to form a panoramic photograph in photoshop. we had to have about 5 in total and upload them onto our blog. I would say my favorite one to take was the one on the field mainly because its nice and empty and it was open. I learned how to merge all of these pictures into photoshop with relative ease which I like because I like to use my camera for panos.
In this past Assignment, we were told to find another category to take pictures for. This week i chose to do a track event for the category: Event. I chose this category because my friend Jake was going to it and i figured it would be a great opportunity for pictures. I learned how to take the best picture I can in bad weather during this because when the track meet started, it started to rain. Because of this, I had to edit the settings to make sure that the picture wasn't under exposed. I didn't particularly enjoy this one just because of the weather that the event was being held at.
For this photo assignment, I was tasked with creating 50 pictures that featured people. Some of the best pictures I took are featured below.
